I hate the Canucks but that would be an amazing top line.

Was my first thought as well, but tanti had a 5 year run in the 80s where he averaged 42 a season, never scored less than 39

Mogilny definitely a better player, but in terms of time as a canuck I think tanti does make sense

Two more thoughts.

1. Was Doug Lidster a beast? He played 666 regular season games in a Canucks uniform.

2. Everytime I see the name Jyrki Lumme I can only hear Mike Lownsbrough skreeching his name on Sports @ 11.

I'd take Tiger Williams over that Kesler any day!

Speaking of Gino, would have been cool if like the foundational player they had an enforcer spot for each team

Harold Snepts should be in over Lumme, Bieksa or Lidster.

The fact that Kesler, Burrows, AND Bieska all make their all-time time proves how sucky the Canucks are.

Smyl would ragdoll Burrows and Kesler in practice for their shenanigans.

Fair point and McLean was top 3 in Vezina voting a couple of times. My recollection was that Brodeur carried the team more than McLean ever did, but that is subjective and not substantiated by data. Brodeur does have the cooler nickname, so there is that.

Mogilny not being there, Jovanovski not being there and Bieksa being there over someone like Willie Mitchell or Dan Hamhuis in a shut down role are all questionable.

Hughes is already the best dman the Canucks have ever had. On a side note, everyone that seems to have a vote and has said the way they are voting is for Hughes, so you may need to come to terms with back-to-back calder winners on a rival.

Jovanovski was a LD though wasn't he? I don't think he beats out anyone on that side. He's clearly better than Bieksa if he was a RD though.

I recall him and Ohlund playing together a fair bit, but I may also just be remembering the times they got put together in a pinch.
