100% Rinaldo. Hope he's brought back.

No one here deserves a vote. I remember Petrovicky from the days where the Gulag had my labouring in P.G. I think he broke the plexiglass at the old PG Coliseum by hitting the same spot 3 feet high and wide of the net multiple times moreso than from one time force.

I think it has to be Dadswell. I mean, he was our worst goalie ever, was he not?

Dadswell played (not memorably) in the infamous NJ storm game I think??

I used to have a hard time keeping him and Marc D'Amour straight

Can't recall. I do believe Dadswell, was the root of the Wamsley acquisition.

Yes, Dadswell's first NHL game was the NJ blizzard game.

Dadwell went 8-7-2 in 1987/88. Not terrible, but considering we won the President's Trophy that year, it was pretty bad (his GAA was 4.37 and he had a 0.858 save percentage).

Steve Chiasson also had 16 points, but was traded to the Whalers a couple weeks before the deadline.

[Tommy Albelin had 15 points, Todd Simpson had 14, Chris O'Sullivan had 10, Joel Bouchard had 9, Cale Hulse had 7, James Patrick had 4 (in an injury-riddled 19 GP), Glen Featherstone had 4 (in 13 GP after being acquired in the trade for Steve Chiasson), Jamie Huscroft had 4 (in 39 GP before being traded to Tampa at the deadline), Sami Helenius had 1 (in 3 GP), Jamie Allison had 0 (in 20 GP) and Zarley Zalapski had 0 (in only 2 GP).]

untrue, I can think of 2 candidates that surpass 35 and 36- although one is quite maligned

I think we're at the point where a number either had no one worth voting for, or one obvious winner.

The only real races that I could foresee for the rest of the numbers are 40, 44, and 55.

I'm a little interested how tomorrow plays out. 93 may generate some discussion

there are still a few other important numbers to come too though- although agree the winners are fairly clear

am eagerly awaiting Gio and St Louis fighting it out for number 46

I never thought Zac Rinaldo would get my vote for anything but here we are. Keep that man on the team.

I loved Petro, but I have to give it to Rinaldo. Yes, Brouwer should win for his tenure length and reinventing the PP, but Rinaldo has impressed in such limited time, on and off the ice. From that list, I'll toss him my vote no problem.

He's a beauty. I hope they keep him around one more year at least.

I have very stark memories of just how bad our defense situation got that year. They weren't the strongest group to begin, but when Patrick and Zalapski went down for the year I knew it was over. I vividly remember how inept the defense group was most nights, just trying to do their best, but nowhere up to the challenge of real NHL games. When Cale Hulse is on your second pairing, you're gonna have a bad time.
