As of now it is Reggie. It could be Lindholm down the road though

He was before my time and I didn't know what his main number was.
Regher and Lindholm are two of my favorite Flames so he's not getting my vote now, but would take number 3 from what I know about him

Regehr.
However, Bourgeois hands-down has the best recipe in Flames history. From the 1985 book "Flaming Foods":
Any recipe that starts with "In a cauldron," is guaranteed to be good.

Would Lindholm have outright won the vote if he had #16 instead I wonder?
He wore 16 originally in Carolina before Kruger was brought in.
Regehr holds a special place in our hearts that I don’t think is the same for anyone who wore #16 in Flames silks. I could be wrong though so it makes one wonder..
I voted Lindholm as he is the best all around player we have seen for quite some time.
He’s so good at everything and is a RH shot, you can’t help but love him.
P.S. I loved Regehr too.

Yep I'll have to make a huge ice block of Charlie's goulash that I can hack with an ice pick whenever I want an easy dinner.

Regehr played for team Canada in 2004 World Cup and 2006 Olympics. He was easily top 6 Canadian defenseman in his prime. Is Lindholm good enough to make team Canada if he was Canadian? Not sure. I would argue that Regehr's peak was higher. Also, Robyn Regehr has more points with the Flames, than Lindholm. And three times more playoff goals. I don't see how Lindholm and his 1 playoff goal for the Flames can even have a sniff at the best #28 of all time.

Lindholm can score all the goals and points he wants, until he's a factor on a great team, Regehr owns this one.

So badly wanted to pick Regehr but I can’t ignore Lindholm. Regehr was a fan favourite and an absolute rock on the blue line but pure talent Lindholm takes this no contest in my opinion.

Maybe Lindholm should switch to 18!
Regehr for me. Lindholm should make that decision easy if he continues to play like he has been playing with the Flames sweater on.

You know i was reading the posts of a few people who said Lindholm and it was just baffling me, i had a long drawn out post about how good of a guy Lindholm is but how he will (probably) never be able to compare to RR.
At the end of it all I deleted it! Regehr is probably my 2nd favorite flame of all time after Theo. I think his number should be honored in the rafters. If lindholm can do that in 2-3 years I expect nothing less then a trip to the finals where he is a key contributor, and take a team friendly deal for a decade.
Robyn is one of the top 5 best flames of all time IMO.

Regehr is on the borderline of being top 10 but you can't look at me with a straight face and tell me he displaces someone out of this top 5:
Iginla
MacInnis
Kiprusoff
Nieuwendyk
McDonald

Key word being IMO. I never seen the 25/9/2 play as I didn't start watching the team till 1995.
Will I argue against it, no. But for ME Regehr is one of the all time flames greats.

That's completely understandable. I'm even crazier, Cammalleri is on my list.

I remember in the World Cup Reg was assigned to check Jagr (prime Jagr too) and he did a fantastic job.
It’s a little surprising how many of these votes are simply landslides, without much debate.
