Nope if it's just you then that's ok I wish I knew about it before letting my kid start first though because now I have to play her game alot more then mine to advance the town it actually really bothered me lol

I love Nintendo but it amazes me how awful their online still is in 2020. I’ve attempted to play online Animal Crossing several times and only once has it worked. I have a good internet connection and so do the people I play with.

Also, why are we still using friend codes?

I've seen people with Discord servers setup channels where someone with a high price can let everyone know and come to their island to sell lol.

So once you've got the campsite you'll get a camper. If you talk to him once it's fine, but the second time I talked to him I was given options to invite him to live on the island, both of them! I don't really want him, so I hard reset the game and waited to the next day, and he's still there.

If I wait long enough does he eventually go away? Or am I stuck with him?

EDIT: Oh and I had my first tarantula island.. super easy, just create a diamond of holes, aggro a tarantula and run to the diamond and you'll hop into the middle and the tarantula usually can't follow. Every once in a while one will get in but I only had 2 out of a full inventory. And Flick had just visited my island for the first time too, so 12,000 bells per tarantula, good bye home loan.

When I landed on my first I didn't know what the point was and left.

I'm choked they took out the "DIY tarantula island" but the newest-newest update seems to have helped that a tiny bit.

I hit the gold dishes as the hot item today and raked in $100k on that. So that helped on the old room expansion.

Should we set up an Animal Crossing specific thread? I can set one up but can't move any posts over obviously.

I just did the trick where you clear everything and tarantulas start spawning. Is that the DIY you're talking about? I probably won't do it again. I prefer to play more organically. Games like this tend to get boring when you're uber-rich and there's no challenge anymore.

Yeah that's what they got rid of. Now it spawns water bugs at a much higher rate.

Agreed. I'm not time-travelling to make millions in interest but 100k on an island trip was more than welcome.
