No one wore lids then, so what I really recall was the thick white hair. He stood out! Also recall he could really wheel for his era, great skater. A life well lived, he will be remembered.

The crazy thing is if he had played one more season, he would have had 12 Cups. If he had played four more seasons, he would have had 15.

Unbelievable hockey player, RIP. It's so odd watching old highlights of hockey because it was so slow. You see the famous Bobby Orr picture and compare to video of play in that era and it almost seems improbable that he had enough momentum to get that high off the ice.

Pretty handsome guy when he played too. Bart could have easily used his picture to send to Edna Krabappel instead of Gordie Howe's.
