After looking dead in the water for most of the game, the Flames turn it on and manage to get a big 2 points!

Just another ride on the Flames rollercoaster.

Outshot them 29-13 after going down 2-0 could've folded like a cheap tent and ended up turning it into a solid effort. Huge 2 points!

I turned off after the second, started reading, could still hear the game in the other room. Had a distinct gut feeling they would come back. They did. I've done that a couple times when they've been down and come back.

Columbus did well to get ahead early and went into a shell. Flames controlled afterwards

Pretty impressive comeback after what looked like an inevitable loss after those first two awful periods.

Incredible effort by both Gaudreau and Mony in OT. Great shot by Brodie too!

Amazing how good this team can look when they actually put the effort in. Maybe do it for 60 minutes next game, and perhaps we can finally get on a roll.

Nice to see the team not just pack it in and give up after what looked like a pretty frustrating game (only saw the third).
Columbus was super aggressive and got on the puck carrier immediately, so making plays was tough. I would imagine that's not a lot of fun to play against.

The thing about that style of the Jackets - they need to play perfect D all game, because they generate very little for themselves at the other end. Then, at the end, when one gores in (as it almost always does), they are so into their defensive shell they can’t flip the switch and go on the offence, so they are prone to the last minute comebacks.

They really don’t have the personnel to compete 3 on 3 either.

Crappy game overall, but maybe this will help give them home momentum

The kind of win that can turn a season around. But the hardest work is still ahead. Keep it going Flames!

What happened to Tkachuk, did he get hurt early in the game?
