I like this trade for the Bruins, Ritichie will break out offensively there. He was always projected with a Lucic type ceiling and he doesn't come with a $6 million contract. He's going to thrive in Boston.

Heinen is nothing, he is a filler.

Heinen has put up more goals and points in a season than Ritchie has. Given a opportunity i think he's do alot more than ritchie ever will in the NHL

Ritchie has turned into a decent depth two-way player and brings physical intimidation up there with the top players in the league when he's angry/engaged. Good net-front option, too. He's a player built for playoff hockey and I really like the fit for the Bruins given their Cup aspirations. Another year at a reasonable price and then RFA, too.

Glad he's out of the Pacific, that's for sure.
