The fact that a 6'6" guy with some degree of talent is still in the AHL at 28 when the NHL is a league that absolutely loves their size is a huge tell.

There are 12 forwards in the league listed 6'5 or greater who have played more than 10 games this year. Only Hayes and 3 jets (Laine, Lowry, Wheeler) play more than 15 mins a night
Wheeler and B Boyle are the only guys older than Robinson. Playing at all in the NHL at this point is an impressive achievement.
