dressed a buddy up as a xmas tree a few years ago.. wrapped him up in garland and lights and stuff. Star over his head... When we got to the party we plugged him into the wall.. He was a hit.

My buddy has this Panda mascot suit that he is lending me. I think it would be hilarious to see a Fuzzy panda out on the dancefloor, but I was wondering if the bars would even let me in with it on.

I don't see why not? I've gone to the bar the last 2 years and on the pub crawl once. Both times were full of all sorts of costumes. It seems to me like one of the easyest nights to get into the bars. If seen people in care bear costumes at the bar, which is similar to yours. Can't see any issues.
