Serious question because I don’t read their board much anymore: have Oiler fans figured out that Neal is terrible yet? Or do they still believe his fluke October was for real?

5 - 2 for the Pens. Not sure even McDrai can being them back from that. Good. Ha. Ha. Mike Smith goes ballistic on Malkin. Smitty isn't taking no for an answer.

Living in Edmonton, I work with many Oilers fans. The ones I've spoken with about Neal have not soured on him. They, in fact, love him. Crazy, I know.

Not sure the fascination the Oilers organization has with back to back fri/sat home games, but tomorrow is going to be pretty pro Montreal at Rectal 2.0, as my guess is most Oiler season ticket holders long ago chose to use the seats tonight against expected Crosby, and sold off tomorrow’s to Habs fans.

Not sure what smexy means, but they still love James Neal. Nary a bad word about him that I've heard.

Smexy is a blend of smart and sexy, referring to someone who has both brains and beauty. Lol.

Any oiler fan i talk to still think neal was a good pick up. I try to explain to them how terrible he is but they aren't having it. "He's got 15 goals"

Alrighty then

Oiler fans will never concede that trade as it got rid of Lucic. They still prefer the Neal buyout option.

Smith - "I felt better about my game...2 breakaways, 2 screens. I'm not going to beat myself up about it"

his apparent quote after the game last night - lots of not my fault in there

It was 3-3 heading into the 3rd period when the Leafs scored twice in 47 seconds to take the lead for good. Nylander and Marner each had 2 goals. Georgiev was the reason the game was close after 2 periods, the Leafs out shot the Rangers 13-4 in the 2nd period.

The Oilers fluked out and scored a SHG, and they continue to spiral downwards going 3-6-1 in their past 10 games. The Pens did what they were supposed to do and have a 15-0-4 record against the Oilers in the past 19 games.

The Caps cruise to another win and remain 1st overall. Backstrom gets 4 points (2g, 2a) and hits the 900 point mark in his career.

The Panthers went crazy in the 2nd period as they scored 5 goals and that was on just 9 shots! Acciari had a hat trick including a penalty shot SHG. He and Huberdeau each had 4 points.
