If you go who is the flame of the decade it would go
80's Lanny
90's Fleury
00's Iggy
10's Gio

Iginla
Gio
Kiprusoff (for his under stated exit, in addition to being the best goalie the franchise had)
And then, in no particular order:
Conroy (for keeping his disgusting classless surprise demotion out of the press)
Engelland (besides his heroic ass kicking out of a double team in a playoff game, just seemed like an awesome, grateful player and person).
2 months of the legend of Jagr was still awesome.
Monahan - Just produced. Right away as a rookie .Remember his time here with #### for teammates before JG?
JG - Most skilled Flames player with the puck, certainly relative to the era, but maybe as an absolute, since Nilsson.

Favs are each guy on the current depth chart. I want them to win together and as individuals.

I’d have to say 80s was MacInnis.

Well there’s the obvious ones like Iggy, Kipper, Johnny, Monahan, Tkachuk, and Gio. Some of the unsung heroes I liked this decade include Lucic, McGrattan, Hudler, Andersson, Rittich, Ferland, Stajan, and Engelland. A guy that took a ton of flak that I really liked was Jay Bouwmeester, and to a lesser extent TJ Brodie.

I always like to credit (and buy the jerseys of) sort of the unsung guys. So the obvious answers are Iginla, Kiprusoff, Regehr, and of the current players Giordano, Tkachuk and Andersson.
But I have to mention Brian McGrattan, not only for being a beast on the ice but just as importantly, all the amazing work he's done post-retirement.

Brian Burke. The only reason I'm glad he moved on is we get to hear more from him as an analyst. The perfect president of hockey operations for this city during that transition period. Gio is the no brainer for a player.

I don't know if it's "the image of the decade" for the Flames, but it's pretty close...
