I don't care what anyone says the officials have been a joke. You would think we signed Wideman to an extension before the season began.

This is what you deserve when you think playing crappy hockey during a 7 game win streak is good enough.

Their 5v5 play under Geoff Ward is very concerning and they're going absolutely nowhere playing that quality of hockey.

Games like that are why I'm still not completely comfortable with the Flames' goalie situation. Rittich has his good games but has let in way too many weak goals this season.

Team still needs another offensive weapon up front.

Hate to say it but something just doesnt work with the d core. They are not producing much of anything this season.

Exactly. Rinaldo gives another spark to our game. Bench Eatbread, Bennett whoever but put Rinaldo back !!

He was lucky tonight with it, but I can’t stand Rittich playing the puck. Not his forte.

Flames didn’t play well, were actually much better in their previous 2 losses despite the point tonight. Rittich can make all the 10 bell saves in the world but they are worth nothing if he’s going to let in 3 bad goals a night.

Dropping three in a row not that big a deal except a very real chance they could lose both of the next tough back to back on the road. Could end up giving back the entire streak in a week and a half.

See what Ward is made of now. He's got figuritive ass kicking to do and or adjustments to make in the third period. This team was outplayed ot and 3rd period, just as they were vs Carolina and Pittsburgh.

I think the team needs to have an eye open for a goaltender that can push Rittich. I'm still not sold on him as a starting goaltender. It looks like his ceiling is league average which is fine but elite goaltending can be a game changer and the team needs to keep searching for one.

I refused to pay for a package this year to watch all the games. I have only watched maybe 3 of the last 8 games. Seems like the usual big swings in compete level. This is going to be a bubble team again.

Probably just a case of the Flames regressing back towards the mean. Still a team with a ton of issues

Backlund really is symptomatic of the team. The talent is there but the strength, drive, desire, will to win is not.

Considering the Flames were playing crappy hockey even during the 7 game win streak and all the metrics pointed towards this coming, the only ones overreacting here were the ones who thought our 7 game win streak was a sign of things to come under Ward.

Gaudreau needs more touches. Too many shifts his line was not able get him the puck. Lindholm line was good.

Rittich is capable of better but Gio too.
