Dude Zadorov is a BEAST. Even with a broken jaw, of course he’s still gonna be physical on Johnny Gaudreau. This man has no fear whatsoever.

I agree with whoever said to send Janko down and call up Lomberg. I think a line of Lucic-Rinaldo-Lomberg would be a great line to shake things up.

Lucic, Rinaldo, and Bennett.....should be a fun game to watch even if they don't turn things around. I feel like it's 1999 all over again.

This team needs some energy and some life. Hope this helps a bit. Surprised to see Rinaldo has 7 points in 14 games with Stockton.

Unless the Avs put out some skill speeders and score 6 goals on guys that can't keep up.
If winning was as simple as putting some slow tough guys in the lineup, everyone would be doing it.
You can play tough, but you also need to skate and actually play hockey to be effective.
It's the basic difference between Tkachuk and Lucic.

Hows the skate and actually play hockey going
There's more than one way to win a hockey game and the wonderful thing about it is, it's always changing. Once a mindset gets locked into thinking there is only one way than they will always be chasing the game
If there isn't a basic difference between your top player and your 4th line player then you're on stacked team and most likely playing in the World Cup

I think it was both.
The team got worked in every aspect of that series with Colorado. Their skilled players are tougher than most of our skilled players and could put up with more and dish out more.

The Colorado series turned the moment Zadorov leveled Tkachuk to start Game 2. He wasn't the same and the team fell apart defensively. Were they related? Who knows.

I’m totally ready for that. I’m sick of the boring do nothing games of Jankowski, Frolik and reider. I wouldn’t waive Janko yet tho. He still might have some value in a throw in trade.
Go out there and smash.

Was it Rocky Thompson who gave us something to cheer about during a couple seasons of doom and gloom way back when? What, twenty years ago? Maybe he can be the new Rocky.

Did Tkachuk change how he plays since then? Is he playing intimidated against Colorado (and other teams)? I don't see that, but I do see some of the other players playing scared a lot.

I think he was hurt the rest of that series. Looks fine this year however.

I don't think Zadorov and Tkachuk are related.
