Not one player played decent tonight. Losses will be piling up now with the upcoming road trip.

I’m checking out from watching games until Peters does something to wake players up.
Why did Bennett not play? He has shown more of a give a damn than half the team.
Why hasn’t Sean or Johny been demoted in the slightest bit? Lindholm leaves it all on the ice.
While at it, how many breakaways or goals against on the PP before we change our awful entry?

I made the trek to Vegas last year around American thanksgiving and watched the boys get shutout 2-0. I thought that was about as bad as it could get. My heart goes out to the Calgarians who had to witness this live.

The pattern of missing the playoffs, making the playoffs, missing the playoffs(with the way it's looking now) is getting old. This core can't handle expectation it seems.
This is Treliving’s core and his pattern too.

Is this team capable of turning it around?

Season feels over. Hopefully these vets i.e. Rieder / Hamonic / Frolik / Stone are shipped off and we can see some kids i.e. Phillips and Yelesin.

Never thought I'd say this...but I think it's time to trade Monahan or Gaudreau. Keep Tkachuk.

Two glaring problems:

1.) Not that tonight is on Talbot but what was Tre thinking bringing in ex-Oilers. The roster is almost identical to last years division champs except for 3 players who played for the Oilers last year. Call it superstition, karma, whatever but why would you want to bring in players from the worst franchise in pro-sports?

2.) Passion. Blaming the coach is easy and this team has had an embarrassing carousel of coaches over the last handful of years but the roster comes ill-prepared almost every night. What does Bill Peters actually do? The team has no chemistry and it appears teams have figured out his “system” from last year and he seems incapable in adjusting. Boring, perimeter play, constant puck turnovers, no sense of urgency whatsoever. Part of this falls on Gio as well, where is the leadership?

With limited assets and no cap room, it’s not like Tre will be able to make a serious improvement in-season so now we likely have to call a play from the Oiler fan playbook: embrace the tank and pray to the hockey gods for a lottery win. What a monumental cluster#### this season has been.

If you discount the miracle comebacks this year, we should be 8-12-1. 17 points, tied with LA for second last. Lovely.

I dont think you can call it good goaltending when your goalie is letting in weak wristers from the top of the circle. The losers we brought in from Edmonton are paying dividends

This roster is pure Wizardry, it is not just anyone who can build a team like this. We are blessed and this is what BT can put together after 6 years, imagine what we will be able to watch after 10 years.

Do their comebacks count? Flames are bad enough without trying to make it sound worse

If they can get a decent return for Gaudreau they need to take it and run.
