Just cant believe most teams progress from season to season when they have a good, young core and this team is all over the map.

Frustrating watching this team

What happened to Johnny and Mony? They look like husks this season.

Okay, now I’m worried. This may be all that they are. What a pathetic effort.

I said it in the game thread. In almost 20 years of being a fan I have never ever been so frustrated with the effort I’ve seen from this team. Not one shot until 17 minutes into the 3rd period is completely inexcusable.

Our core needs a shake up. We’ve been on auto pilot for way too long. I think either Johnny or Monahan have to go and we bring in someone like a ROR type. Big, mean and actually gives a ####.

When we were up 1-0 it felt lucky... just an awful performance from a few guys we count on. If Johny doesn’t have the puck in the o zone he has a give a damn meter of 0. Across the league other fans comment on his lack of defensive game and trying to find the breakaway but this year it’s become real obvious.

Also, beauty goal but how in the world is that not challenged? Whack the goalie in the head with your stick before the puck goes in and it’s considered clean?

Flames having major problems scoring goals. And this has been ongoing since All-Star game last season.

The lineup is a problem. I don't have confidence that the way the team is structured right now is going to change that issue for the rest of the season.

Bunch of unconfident guys. Even in powerplay, nobody wants make decision. Just to give other guy, and hope a magic happens.

Default Flames lose 2-1 in Carolina

Geoff Ward is an awful PowerPlay coach. All they do is whip it around the zone along the boards. It was a %^*# PowerPlay last year, it’s a ^*%+ PowerPlay this year.

This team lacks heart in a huge way. Not sure how Treliving can fix this. After the playoffs last year, and now this October...things don’t look good.

Time to explore options with Guadreau and Monahan before their values plummet?

I wouldn't mind seeing Tkachuk benched for a period against Nashville. Playing pretty selfishly today

I had paused the stream to watch it later on my break, but our terrible internet screwed it up so I just got to watch the first and the last half of the third. And I'm kind of glad that happened. Ouch.

I can't believe Treliving "earned" a big extension. This is such a flawed team with nothing on the farm to fill any holes. This is a team that is completely lacking identity, too small, too slow, and just way too easy to play against.

Can’t believe the first goal wasn’t a high stick, it clearly smacked Rittich in the side of the head. Flames should have challenged that.

Makes you wonder if the book is out on this team since the Avs showed the way in the playoffs.

Being so passive and disinterested until the final seconds of the 3rd says a lot.

This team is trying to give the minimal effort and toughness to succeed. Either something in the room needs to change or major moves need to be made if this keeps up much longer.

Just because you won the West in the regular season last year means absolutely zero right now. This team is certainly not good enough to sleepwalk for major periods of time and expect to still win. They're not that good.
