The Penguins came out fast and furious by scoring 4 goals in the 1st period and went on to blast their cross state rivals, 7-1 over the Flyers. The Pens had 7 different goal scorers, Crosby with 3 points, and Elliot was pulled after 6 goals. All goals were even strength as both teams couldn't score on the PP.
The Ducks beat the Jets 7-4. The Ducks also had 7 different goal scorers, Josh Mahura had 3 assists for Anaheim. Hellebucyk was pulled after 5 goals halfway through the game.
The Sharks continue to struggle as the Bruins defeated them and the Capitals beat the Leafs in OT. Thanks Washington.
