That's only because they had played the most games in the league at the time, 3 or 4 games more than nearly half of the league, finishing October 8-6-0. The Canucks were 6-6 exactly one year ago. Like Blaster said, it was the injuries that derailed their season. This year the Canucks have much more depth to deal with injuries, and they are more of an improved team than some on here care to acknowledge. By how much, time will tell.

If you think the Canucks are going to keep getting .930 goaltending I have a bridge to sell you. But hey, they might be a wild card team based on early returns.
