Boy, I dunno. I'd just hope they aren't true. I think I'd rather have Reimer, myself. Talbot is fine, but he kind of just seems like something of a half-measure with worse stats. At least trading for Reimer re-allocates Stone's salary in a more useful place.

I guess that’s a fair question, but with multiple sources already reporting that Talbot is essentially certain to join Calgary I suspect that it will probably happen tomorrow.

Thank you for moving on from Reimer. One of the most frustratingly inconsistent goalies I can think of. Makes all-world saves in one breath, and then lets in a floater from the blue line in the next breath. You never know what to get from him on any night, but he does have the ability to steal a game or two for your team.

They better be getting Bobrovsky, otherwise they have no goalie to start the season.
