To be fair to myself, I didn't really have an opinion on this Lazar news. I wasn't sure if I liked it, but after giving it more than a passing thought it makes some sense.

Lazar is such a cool and charismatic guy. They should start grooming him for a non-hockey role IMO.


But maybe he still thinks he can make a go of it in the NHL..

I think a non-hockey role for Lazar could be awesome. Definitely has the mentality for it.

No, I'm not subscribed to any threads. Just checked. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Listening to 960 now -- Treliving does sound very intent upon retaining Lazar's rights. Clearly wants to avoid arbitration whenever possible.
