Would he get hired? Maybe somewhere, someday, however since their last cup, he's signed plenty of mediocre players to lucrative contracts. (Weiss, Abdelkader, Helm, Ericsson, Nielsen, Dekeyser, etc)

I think Holland is from Penticton so a POHO job with the Canucks or Oilers makes some sense and both teams happen to be looking. Seattle also makes a lot of sense.

True. But hes also lived in Detroit for almost 30 years and gotten American citizenship for his entire family.
