Hands up, everyone who saw Mangiapane on our opening night playoff roster all the way back in October.

I had high hopes that Dube would have had a run like Mangiapane did to end the season (from the start mind you) and secure his spot all season/playoffs long.
He's still young and likely will have a shot again next year, but I'm happy Eatbread managed to do it, he deserves it!

I even questioned it when he was first called up and started playing consistent minutes, but he's made a believer out of me. He has an NHL shot and has been a great fit on that line. Excited to see what he and that line can do in the playoffs as this is where Calgary's depth can really tilt a series like this one, IMO.

I've liked Mangiapane over any of the other AHL kids since training camp, thought he showed a lot of jam and had the right amount of AHL experience to make the jump. He's been a little underwhelming most of the year, but has turned it up and exceeded my expectations to finish the year.

I assume the Avs are still in Denver? When do they arrive in Calgary?

Finishing 1st in the conference and having a 100% healthy lineup to start the post-season?
Dream scenario to start the playoffs.

I'd also like to know what street to not practice my marching band drums on this week.

I know some people who run a balloon company, where would I recommend they test out their equipment?
They only need about 50 empty feet for the flames and it only sounds like a runaway freight train right next to your head.
Any suggestions?

Yeah Valimaki passed him at start of year. Fantenberg acquired and now Prout has passed him too.
Looks like his contract is exactly one year too long.

It is either that or the Palliser.

I would say two. How much would he really have played this year if he was healthy?

I’ve got a shipping container of illegal fireworks I need to dispose of. Perhaps we could coordinate and I’ll set off all my fireworks while your band practices.

He probably would've played quite a bit, especially if Valimaki's injury is considered.
Agree with Strange Brew -- his deal is a year too long. Hope he's dealt so he can play in a defined role for another team.

If my uncle was my aunt. He wouldn’t have played at all if Valamaki wasn’t injured. Kylington is farther ahead. We didn’t miss him at all this year.
