Three straight losses at the Honda center.

I swear Getzlaf came back from his injury just to spite us.

It's the Oilers at home in a nothing 'rivalry' game. If we break their spirits early, there's a strong chance of two Johnny points.

That first period will be Edmonton's stanley cup though.

Valimaki was the best of the defensemen

Yup, they're gonna go all out for that game. It's all they've got.

I still think our B squad can beat them though. The Oilers are that bad.

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames LW Johnny Gaudreau, two points shy of 100, 1 of 2: “It would be cool, obviously, It’s something that I try not to focus on too, too much. But I realize how close I am. That’s not the reason why I’m playing though right now. I feel good ... ”

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames LW Johnny Gaudreau, continued: “You guys have known me long enough — I like to be on the ice, I want to be out there, I want to be playing game rather than sitting in the press-box watching my teammates play. I feel rested. I feel ready to go.”

I think Valimaki is the sixth one who starts playoffs.

Yeah he looks really good. On the flip side I thought Kylington struggled, several really poor decisions with the puck.

Feeling indifferent about game 81 and 82 is so familiar, and yet, this time seems different for some reason

Is that what it's like to be an Oilers fan? I didn't care of we won I just wanted Gaudreau to get points.

Glad I have taste in teams, sure couldn't watch games like that all year

Yep... Game 81 ended, what, six hours ago? And this is post 36 in the PGT. If I told you this at the beginning of the season, you'd think either something is going horribly wrong or horribly right. Probably the latter, because there'd be a lot more posts if things were bad...

It's just bizarre to see the Flames record at the pond, 1-27-5 in the past 33 games.

It' also good to give Gaskal the night off to be well rested as he will be needed in the playoffs!

I expect when Getzlaf retires that will change. I can't remember a player post-80's that's owned the Flames like he has. They simply have never had an answer for him regardless of the coach or roster.
