I remember in 2007 The Islanders beat I believe the Devils in a shootout to eliminate the Leafs on the last day of the season.

It’s kind of a bummer that the Panthers aren’t going to be in the playoffs. That top line is deadly and fun to watch.

It amazes me how many Oiler games get nationally televised. I guess all of Canada likes to laugh at their incompetence, it’s way better comedy than SNL these days.

To make the playoffs the Oilers need to win their last 4 all in regulation or OT, including beating Colorado, except that game can't go to OT, then Colorado must lose their other 3 games all in regulation. Then even if that happens the Oilers would still need Arizona to lose all 3 of their games in regulation. Oh and if those very unlikely scenarios did happen then the Oilers would need Minny to pick up less than 4 points in 3 remaining games and Chicago to win less than 3 of their remaining 4 games. Good luck!!!
Oiler fans be like

The Blues have a 1-0 lead. Schwartz has the goal.

Default April 1 with seven games.

I want the Avs and their tire fire defensive depth in the first round. They rely on their top line like no other team outside of the oilers and they don’t work particularly hard like the coyotes. I think the flames would wear them down quite easily, their top line can keep up with the flames pace but I doubt their 2-4 lines could. Much better matchup than the Blues or Dallas

Yeah...well...Grubauer has given up 11 goals in his last 7 starts. He has been en fuego. Doesn't mean the Flames cant beat them, but hot goaltending in the playoffs...well.

I would much rather see the Coyotes get in.

True, I just think the Coyotes work harder and could clog the neutral zone much better than the Avs can. The Avs are a lazy team imo and poorly coached. I’d take playing the lazy team over the hardworking grinder team everyday of the week. I also wonder how much more Mackinnon has left in the tank after carrying the team over the last month.

5 - 3 Florida. They sweep the Caps.

Leafs clinch. Now they get their choice of Washington, Boston or Tampa Bay

edit: it's Boston

The Jets have a 3-2 lead in the middle of the second period. Crawford stopped a penalty shot.

It is still 1-0 for the Blues after forty minutes.

I regurgitated part of my supper due to the stinkin Leafs clinching. The Islanders had one job to do.

So the Leafs will indeed play Boston in the first round.

I know where my money is going in that one

Troy Brouwer has more points than Lucic. I can't express in words my glee at this fact.

I think the Oilers are eliminated if they win in the shoot out. Lol!

Tarasenko scores fourteen seconds into the third period, 2-0 now for St. Louis.
