As long as the Flames don't allow Kane to run the show, we should win this one. I Have a feeling this will go to OT though, since the Sharks will no doubt be jacked up for this one after finally ending their losing skid last night. Flames will need to be ready.

Go Flames. Play your game and don't let them draw you into playing their way.

The last couple clinch situations were from other teams losing. This would be a good one for the flames to win and punch the ticket themselves.

I hope they can limit the damage from Kane who has 7 points in 3 games against the Flames. That would go a long way to beating these guys.

Here's Brent Burns trying and failing to impersonate what a real Norris candidate sounds like

Statement game. No backing in to clinching the west, it’s time to step up and take care of business.

Go get it boys!

Guessing Bennett draws in, Prout stays in and Rittich gets the net.

I'd be ok with Smith starting this one. He's been lights out lately, and we need this win. Rittich can start tomorrow against LA.

March 31, 2017 the Flames defeated SJ 5-2 to clinch a playoff spot.

March 31, 2019 the Flames will defeat SJ to clinch 1st in the West!

So is our starter tonight the planned starter for playoffs? Will be interesting to see who Peters goes with.

Also, Kane was really stirring it up last night. He was red-lining the #####-baggery.

I fully expect that he will be at it even more aggressively against the Flames tonight. Someone has to step up and answer him. Unfortunately, the Flames don't really have anyone.

You're a damn visionary, puppetguy. You could be the next Stephen Hillenberg (RIP).

Dressing Prout should help. Also, Tkachuk and Hathaway can usually out-d*****bag anyone. I'm not worried at all about Kane stirring it up. I'm more worried about keeping him off the scoresheet.

I'm fine with them simply keeping him off the score sheet. Sharks play the Flames tough and it would be nice for the Flames to have a positive result against them as there's the possibility they may meet in the 2nd round.

Was that the game with the Gaudreau/Bennett give-and-goal?
