Ob La Di is the worst.

Some of the deep cuts like "For No One", "I'm Looking Through You", "I've Just Seen A Face" are the best for me.

My dad had an original 1967 copy of Pepper and a few years ago my wife brought home a German Shepherd Puppy. Specifically pulled that one out of the cupboard and ate it up.

Tomorrow Never Knows is the best Beatles song. Is my all time favourite song.

Mr. Burns: Beatles, eh? Ah, yes, I seem to remember their off-key caterwauling on the Sullivan show. What was Ed thinking?

Probably the most overrated album in history and I like the Beatles.

Sgt. Pepper's probably isn't even in my top-5 Beatles albums, tbh

The best Beatles song is either Love You To or A Day in the Life.

I think George wrote some of his best songs in the Beatles, but I think both John and Paul wrote far better songs after the Beatles.

Ob La Di does suck.

I am the Walrus and A Day in the Life always stand out to me as songs that were way ahead of their time. They would be hits now if released today.

Okay, I get Pepper's not being the best but not top 5? Is this some kind of neo-hipster, 60's edgelord retrospective thing? You could argue maybe that Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, Revolver and the White Album were better but that's largely based on taste. In terms of production, writing, theme and performance it's hard to seriously argue any of them were better than Peppers. But what other album would get into the top 5 to push Sgt.Pepper out?

What the hell!? I'll grant you George was at his best with the Beatles but John and Paul better afterwards? They had some decent songs but if not for who they were the vast majority of those songs would be unknown to most. Imagine was a good song but I still think songs like A Day in the Life were better. What did Paul write in Wings or afterwards that could possibly compare to Yesterday, Hey Jude, Let It Be, etc?

I challenge you both to a shirts-off fight on the front lawn!

I kind of agree with him. Giving it some thought, I actually would have Sgt Peppers at 6 in my list. I've always felt Help was an under appreciated album and have to slot that in ahead.

Sgt Peppers is a great album. It's just hard to rank, I mean it's the freaking Beatles, every album is gold. It could have been even better if Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane were included on it instead of released as singles.

For me:

1- Abbey Road
2- Rubber Soul
3- Revolver
4- White Album
5- Help
6- Sgt Pepper

I'll take A Day in the Life. I've always had time for Norwegian Wood and Blackbird, but they're not as musically impressive.

Here Comes the Sun, I defy anyone to listen to that song and still be in a bad mood at the end.

I think even now, George is under appreciated for what he brought to The Beatles.

Not sure I have a favorite. Too many to choose from.
Let it be
Hey Jude
A day in the life
All you need is love
In my life
Yesterday
......too many. And I’m a sucker for their early stuff too, even if they were short pop songs, I love them too.

Yeah, if we're talking best Beatles song vs favourite those are two different categories. A Day in the Life and Tomorrow Never Knows are technically amazing but I love the simple beauty of the other two you mentioned.
