And Dube is 5'11", if you believe the published stats (and FWIW, if everyone inflates them, it's all relative anyway). So he's not tiny like Czarnik or Gaudreau.
He's 187 lb as well, which ain't bad. he's bigger than Derek Ryan who you don't really notice as being a small player.

Tampa seems to have tiny forwards and huge defensemen.
And it really seems to work.

Not to mention almost all of their small forwards were huge draft steals, if they were even drafted at all.

It will be interesting to see how next years forward group shapes up because I think Tre:

- Feels like we need another top6 forward
- Wants to move on from Frolik

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik/New guy
Bennett-Jankowski-Neal
Mangiapane-Ryan-Hathaway
Czarnik/Dube

A guy like Neal really hinders our ability to fit Dube in easily. Frolik and Neal are the only 2 that make sense to try and offload but Neal is also a newer FA signing and has low value trade wise.

Oiler poaching in the AHL. I like it.

I see him taking over Jankowski's spot within 2 seasons.
