Matt Murray with the 33 save SHUTOUT as the Penguins are on a big winning streak as mentioned and are 9-1-0 in their past 10 games. The Pens also had 33 shots on goal, Mario Lemieux must have been watching. Ehlers was injured and will be out for a while.
The Rangers were dreadful as they were taking too many penalties in the first 40 minutes and the Avs scored 3 PPGs on to a 6-1 victory. The Avs were ahead in shots 16-3 after the 1st period. Barrie, McKinnon, and Rantanen each had 3 points.
Larkin scored the GWG in OT with 26 seconds as the Red Wings beat the Predators. Rinne made 35 saves in the loss.
Seguin scored both goals including the GWG with Radulov assisting on them for the Stars OT win over the Capitals. Khudobin was terrific in net for Dallas.
The Ducks can thank Gibson for keeping them in the game as he faced 42 shots. Anaheim was shorthanded 2 players for 90 seconds in the 3rd period. The goals came quickly in the 2nd period as the Ducks scored 2 goals in 18 seconds to take a 2-1 lead. Then in the middle of the period the Knights score 2 in 31 seconds to retake the lead and hang on for the 3-2 win.
