How come each team has 8 skaters and two goalies? Wouldn't it make sense to have 9 skaters so you can roll 3 lines for 3 on 3?

Meh, suck no more Flames were picked. But the rest is more important IMO. Even OV was willing to take a game suspension to avoid the lamest hockey ever and risk injury. Would rather see Gio rested for the final push.

It looks they're doing a fan vote for the final spot on each team, so there will still be one more added.

One remaining spot in each division will be filled through the 2019 NHL All-Star Last Men In presented by adidas fan vote. If they want to stick to a division format they should probably just expand the rosters a little more.

Go 8 forwards, 4 dmen, 2 goalies.

Enough for 4 lines. Players don't have to play as much and fans are happier since fewer snubs and less awkward to have to fit in the 1 per team rule. Tough to pick 11 all-stars per division, and have one representative from each of the 8 teams per division, without leaving some deserving guys out. Going to 14 per division would make it a lot easier.

I am excited to see the jersey's though - Sharks teal color scheme has some potential.

Tampa only has 2 as well, so at most being the non-host we could have had 2, and though gio is deserving I'm sure he will welcome the extra rest.

Annoying Gio didn’t make it but I should have expected no respect for the Flames and host pandering.

The fan vote nominees will be announced soon. I wonder if Tkachuk will be there and if any non Flames fan would vote for him.

As for the omissions? Whatever, the Flames as a team will be better off for it. Which, I hope I speak for most when I say that's all I care about here.
