The Ducks lead 1-0 early in the second period and have a 15-5 edge in shots!

The Stars have woken up as they scored again quickly to take a 2-1 lead and are out shooting the Ducks 8-0 so far this period.

Depending on the outcome of the ducks-stars game of course, but right now both wild cards belong to the pacific. And here we were told there was no chance for any pacific team to get a wild card spot. Seems like the pacific is not terrible after all. Central not looking so hot below the top three anymore.

Terrific wrist shot by Radulov as he scores a power play goal, 3-1 Stars and the Ducks still do not have a shot on goal in the period.

Haha, Roman Polak taking Bishop out when trying to get through the crease to somewhere where not a single duck was. Not a great play there. Ducks are relentless right now and the stars look absolutely terrible.

I know it's a little ironic complaining about these improbable Ducks wins after what the Flames did tonight but it's sooooo annoying.

Ducks win 6-3. God I hate that team so much. How the hell do they keep doing it? Is it Gibson? They always seem to get outplayed, and their goal differential is -10, fer f*** sakes.

The Ducks will falter down the stretch. I bet they don't even get into the playoffs.

Quick! Knock on wood! If you say things like that, they will get on your nerves and make it in by a fluke!. #### the ducks.

Nosek scored the GWG. The Islanders defenseman, Hickey, will have nightmares as he could not control the puck on the rebound and Lehner couldn't glove it. There weren't many shots, 23-14 in favour of the Isles.

The Bhawks finally stopped their 8 game losing streak. Crawford was the main reason for the victory as he made 40 saves. Bryan Rust scores the natural hat trick in a losing cause. Nice dive by Kane as he tried to score an empty net goal and then went face first into the boards.

The Ducks find a way to win again as they were down 3-1 in the 2nd period. The Ducks finally started to fly midway through the third period as they scored 4 goals in that time span. Ondrej Kase gets the hat trick and Getzlaf gets his 900th career point.

The good thing with this game is that it ended in reg time. Gibson is the main reason for their success and the Ducks are over relying on him. I think fatigue will get to him unless Chad Johnson (from waivers) plays well and Miller recovers 100% from his injury. Carlyle knows how to coach this team and Getzlaf provides strong leadership.
