Neilsson playing well in net as the Canucks continue to hang on to the 1-0 lead after forty minutes.

Sportsnet does the national matinee games. The problem is that the Senators can only be shown nationally a certain amount of times per season. This season it was decided 27 games could be national games and the other 55 games are on TSN regionally. There is one option for Sportsnet and that would have been to show the game from British Columbia to Ontario (minus the Senators region) and use the Sharks feed. This happened a few years ago with a Senators-Flyers game.

Jesus the Canucks are trash. Gave up the go ahead goal late again.

27 goals against in the 3rd (or last 10 minutes of the third?) to lead the league.

Remember when some were worried about the Canucks? Lost 10 of 11.

I think I've seen at least three odd-man rushes by the Wild in the first 6 minutes of this 2nd period. Oh and the game is now tied 2-2

Preds with 3 goals in the first 5 minutes, and are now on a 5 on 3 PP in the middle of a SEVEN minute PP. Keith took a blind side hit from Salamaki, Debrincat went over to engage but was cut off by Irwin, then Keith ended up wrestling with Salimaki. Keith got 2 for roughing PLUS 5-10-game for retaliation. Oddly, 'Hawks score a SHG on the 7 minute kill, now 3-1 with 7 minutes to go in the 1st.

Bob Cole, treasure that he is, is making a run of the mill Habs Rangers game feel like a trip to the North Pole.

There was a moment when he called Jordie Benn 'Weber'; Rick Ball makes this sort of mistake every game, and it's fine. #6 vs #8, both are large, bearded defensemen - it can happen to anyone. Most of all, it doesn't matter.

Were I to collect all seven of Earth's Dragon balls and be granted one wish, I don't know that I'm wishing Bob Cole immortality. But the Namekian ones that grant three wishes?

One wish keeps Bob Cole alive, and the second one makes sure the suits at corporate let him call the Finals.

Rask and Howard almost ended up fighting in the Red Wings/Bruins game.

I would rather watch the James Cameron Aquaman from Entourage than whatever this is.

There are babies in cages; I'm over superheroes.

Salamaki has like 2 points, I'm not sure why he's in the league. All he does is run around, dive and headsnap.
