Classic Tre troll job, making Lomberg come in on a Saturday.

I like it. Too bad Lomberg wasn’t bigger. He plays nothing but 110 percent at all times and that’s probably why even last year he got the odd call up. Got to reward the guys who are hungry and tenacious. Sets the tone to other guys in Stockton what they need to bring day in day out if they want to get a crack at the big squad.

Who knows but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lonberg slot shard of Czarnik after the Vegas game.

And although I don’t see Peters sitting Andersson or Valimaki, it would be fun too see Kylington play.

Or was it requested by Peter(s)?

I was really impressed with kylington in the preseason, excited to see his game at the nhl level when he does get in.

On second thought, I could see Kylington coming in for a game or two for Valimaki.

Valimaki is coming straight from junior and he might start feeling some fatigue both physically and mentally. His play has tailed off a little bit in recent games, but that also has to do with the intensity (Edmonton) and quality (Winnipeg) of opponent.

Johnny watched a game from the press box too at the start of his NHL career and it really helped him. I don't think Valimaki has sat at all since opening day.

It would be a good way to get Kylington some reps at the NHL level too.

Yeah it's a reward. Even if they don't get into games they get paid NHL money while on the main roster.

Also if you're Czarnik and Lomberg ends up dressing ahead of you what message does that send?
Yeah he maybe had his worst game of the season. I was wondering while watching him struggle if maybe Stone may have got in for the next game in his place. Now Stone is out for a while I assume Kylington won't get in unless Valmaki or Andersson has a bad game.

I can't tell if you realize that the original comment pays homage to one of the true classic movies from the last 20 years.

The main character's name was Peter so your comment could go either way haha..

I was trying for the reference, probably works a little better when you hear it instead of read it, haha

You leave Tkachuk - Backlund - Bennett alone! True beauty cannot be forsaken in the name of Ryan Lomberg!

I like Valmaki, but maybe after benching in the third, he could sit for one game to recharge/reset, and give Kylington a shot for one game. Also wondering did Anderson and him play together much in Stockton the past couple of years?

I want very much to see if he and Andersson can create a bit of Swedish blueline magic together.

From what I recall Andersson played with Wotherspoon ES and PP so I don't think they played much together at all.

Seems like some folks missed Lomberg' last NHL fight.

Lazar is in a long game type of game re-hab. I think that they would not call him up unless they absolutely had to, for his benefit.

Peluso? Meh, he wasn't a liability when he played but he also wasn't standing out.

we have a bunch of under 35 year old players that need some looks. Would have rathered Rychel get a look on this road trip but meh, they're probably thinking he'd be a long term call up and this is a short term move.

I won't mind if Lomberg slots in instead of Hathaway for the Arizona game. Would possibly get Hathaway back on his toes too.
