Blues shutout for the third time in four games. Why does Yeo still have a job?

Good for Rinne but I want to dislike this comment

Sure would have been nice to land Hoffman. They basically gave him away for free and we likely dont sign Neal if we land him. Having that 5th highend offensive threat would have made this team really dangerous.

It is 33-16 now in shots. The first period shots were 23-7 for the Jets! The Canucks have closed the gap, it is 4-3 Winnipeg after forty minutes. Laine made it 4-1 midway through the second period, Motte scored a shorthanded soon after, and then Goldobin.

5-3 Jets should ice this game, but who knows.

I think so, the Jets should fly out of there with a victory. The Canucks are slumping and the post game shows are starting to resemble nuclear meltdowns.

Laine scores the empty net goal for the hat trick, 6-3 Jets.

Love seeing the Canucks come crashing back to earth. Losers of 6 straight and Anaheim can leapfrog them into 3rd in the division if they win when they play each other on Wednesday.

Raises the question of whom to cheer for. I hate the Ducks more than Vancouver these days, and the Canucks have played so many games I don't mind if they beat Anaheim.

Nah, get the Canucks out of here. Anaheim can lose later.

It was a very sudden drop for the Canucks. I thought they would revert to the bottom over time, not start to lose every single game just like that. It will be interesting to see how they fare on the California trip.

Disagree. The Canucks are going to crash, we all know that. But the Ducks are a team that can still rise up and be a pain. The more losses they pile up now, the better.

However, given the way Vancouver is looking lately, beating Anaheim is a tall ask.

I think neither team is a threat, frankly. I'd worry more about AZ. And, in the conference, Dallas and the Avs.

Have you learned nothing from the last 15 years? Anaheim is always a threat to the Flames, regardless of what players they have or how well they do against other teams

I think they are in a severe decline. Their wins this year have been smoke and mirrors and Gibson. The one against the Flames was on Smith (problem fixed).

Their record against the Flames hasn't been with different players, for the most part - it's been Getzlaf, Perry and Kesler. And those guys are nearing the end. They just don't scare me any more.

I dislike the Canucks more. It has to do with fans, just like Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto.
