It was a power play contest in the BJs-Capitals game. Columbus won 2-1 in reg time and all 3 goals were on the PP. The weird thing is that the BJs have the worst PP in the league. Referee Brad Meier fell awkwardly and did the splits and twisted his knee.
The Blues win 4-0 with Johnson getting the 33 save SHUTOUT. Bozak and Schwartz each had 2 points. Coach Yeo seems to have saved his job temporarily. Both teams were perfect on the PK, each going 4 for 4.
The Wild stay hot winning for the 9th time in 11 games, 5-1 over the lame Ducks. Gibson made 38 saves in the loss and the Ducks were perfect on the PK. It's the 5 on 5 they need to improve on.
What the hell happened to the Devils? They lose 6-1 to the Leafs. Ugh. Kinkaid didn't have it, he let in all 6 goals. Andersen was good in net for the Leafs making 38 saves. It was another OOT game where the PK was perfect for both teams (4/4 Leafs, 3/3 Devils).
The Red Wings do the come back at home. The Rangers scored 2 PPGs late in the 2nd period to take a 2-0 lead heading into the 3rd period. The Red Wings come back and win it in OT with 6 seconds left, nice goal by Larkin.
It was the Blake Wheeler show in Winnipeg as he had 5 points!
