First of all great road win. The Leafs didn't seem interested and the Flames just kept plugging away. However that is the most biased officiated game I have seen in years. It's not the volume of the calls but the quality of the calls on Neal and Giordano. Those plays are never called in any game ever and blowing the whistle well after the puck was off the net in Flames possession was also garbage. Just embarrassing for the league.
Smith has taken a lot of heat but he was big late so to me he deserves a star for that. Tkachuk needs a talking to by the coach as he needs to pick his moments to be a pest as that penalty changed the complexion of the game as the Leafs didn't have a shot on net well into the 3rd period before that penalty.

The flames manage to fight through 2 phantom penalties and a blown down 4-1 with an empty net. Hopefully the team galvenizes around a clear win against the refs and goes on a run

I dunno. I felt like the penalty calls on the leafs were pretty weak as well. I agree the leafs just seemed disinterested. I’m so happy we were able to keep a team to one goal and one sort of goal that hit the side of the net
