Brodie hanifin and andersson were ugly as ####.

First line was a liability.

Special teams are somehow not improving from last year

As bad as the first 40 minutes were, special teams lost the team the game.

Bad PK.

Worse PP.

The PP has not been good all season. They had a good PP rush for about a game and half, and every other night it has been a soul sucking source of incompetence. It needs to be reworked, and some players need to be rewarded. Why Bennett-Backlund-Neal aren’t together on PP2 is baffling.

Time for Czarnik to come in and Ryan to sit.

The new NHL bothers me greatly. Cowards like Domi and Gallagher can walk around cheap
Shoting, chirping, and smiling with no accountability and if you try to lay one out these little
Midgets with a hit their head will hit your elbow and you’ll get a 5-10 game suspension.

Terrible game by Hanifin, Andersson and Brodie with a bad penalty.

As far as forwards go.... great effort by Tkachuk and flashes by Bennett. The rest were hot garbage, Neal and Gaudreau in particular.

Horrible effort from start to finish. There is still an issue of work ethic and focus with this team. You can't bench the whole team, so I wonder what happens next.

One poor game is an anomaly.

Two poor games in a row is most commonly a mid-season lull. It doesn't usually happen before November.

Hopefully we don't see three poor games in a row because that's a trend, and not a good one at that.

Played like crap for 90% of the game and lost by one, the sky’s not falling. They played like crap tonight, they’ll play like crap again at some point this season, that’s hockey. 1-1 on an abbreviated road trip is fine. That’s said, I’ve been an ardent Neal supporter but c’mon man, it’s time to start doing something. Same with the PP. New strategy, different personnel, something needs to be done. Wouldn’t mind seeing new D pairs or Hamonic back soon. Big breath people, it’s one game out of 82.

Really sloppy play and way too little energy. Really thought we were gonna tie it up after that second goal, but instead we just kind of fizzled out at the end. Way too lazy play. Gotta say that the Habs played a good game though, with lots of sticks in passing lanes making life miserable for the Flames. Also, James Neal is welcome to show up on the score sheet any time now. Two great chances wasted this game. Rittich has elevated his game this season and looks to be in complete control of his play. Maybe Smith can take a page out of that playbook and stop scrambling around for once.
