isn't 'curb your enthusiasm' like the same joke nine times and episode?
first two minutes i thought it was the funniest show, then i realized the same joke was repeated over and over.
there's some kind of misunderstanding, and larry david is made to look like a real butthead to strangers or semi-strangers.

Outside of sports, news, and music shows, I really enjoy:
Sex, Toys & Chocolate
Smallville
Family Guy

Yeah, every show has misunderstandings that make Larry David look like a schmuck. But it's still funny every time.
It's like how the Simpsons is just satire after satire but it never gets old.

I need to find some new favourite shows. In recent years my favourite shows have either been cancelled (Angel, Buffy) have gotten worse to the point I lost interest (ER, West Wing, NYPD Blue) or just are on at the wrong times (Gilmore Girls).
So....this thread is great. Gives me some new stuff to try out.

Forgot the best one...
The Daily Show...god thats hilarious. Except when the guests are stupid actors or trying-to-act-cool politicians.
|
i love when a guest just stinks, like natalie portman, and jon is able to spice up the interview.
also i'd bet not one guest of the republican convention is a regular watcher of the show, because john mccain sure made some fun of bush on it! [/b][/quote]
Portman's interview on Letterman was worse... played cootchie-coo with her dog all interview.... gag. I think it even grossed out Dave.

On the subject of Natalie Portman on talk-shows, she was actually a funny interview on Conan. Completely ran him down for being a civil-war geek, after he spent the first half of the interview belittling star-wars fans.
