You have Facebook? Worked great for me last time, in Alberta too. Better quality than their website

Haha, yeah I do have it, but I avoid using it as much as possible these days. Talk about spyware, Facebook is the ultimate spyware, collecting data for organizations that are up to no good.

Perhaps a little (lot) off-topic, but if the last few years have proved anything, paying an organization does not necessarily buffer you against unwanted data collection.

Can't wait until the season starts and literally the entire game day thread isn't about whether we can watch it on TV.

Time for Tkachuk to start getting acquainted with another in division defenseman.

We don't really care about Rittich's development, with all due respect, so he can sit for long stretches.

If Gillies improves enough to unseat Rittich, then you call him up. But when it's this close, let Gillies have starts instead of Rittich.
I feel that is old school thinking based on starters who play 65-70 games. GUlutzan and Co. were completely idiotic in how they handled Smith's starts last year and that cannot be repeated for this team to succeed. As it stands, we have a senior citizen for a starter who will sooner or later get hurt. It's not if, but when. Whoever is backing up should be playing at least 30 games to keep Smith fresh and as healthy as possible.....this is a sizable amount of hockey and would certainly render developmental issues associated with playing time quite minimal.

The Skinny: Rittich has not been good at all this pre-season, especially for someone fighting to retain his role. If Gillies is deemed even slightly better at this point, which by all accounts is the case, you best go with him. Keeping him here would be another poor message to send the team much like the Jankowski demotion last season if he has not outplayed his competitor.

I totally agree - the BEST players stay here in Calgary with all others being sent down. Now - if we need a player to clear waivers first and we don't have certainty that he will, that would be my only exception to this rule. As long as you give the backup goalie enough starts (20+), it doesn't matter if they stay up or go down, their development should progress at the same pace, remember, they're facing better shots up here (quality over quantity = same same)

Shouldn't the team be focused on building some chemistry with realistic at this point? That seems odd to me.

I really hope Bennett is provided a top 6 opportunity. Let's see what the kid has got playing with some skill in a critical year!

Reddit is the best and they let you know before hand if there is any overlays “ads” before you visit. Usually you can find a 0. If not just have up to date ad blocker and you’re golden. I don’t go anywhere else because of poetential for malware like you said.
