This has been stuck in my head all day. It seems like a good potential move for both teams to me. Especially if he has cleared and we could park him in the AHL as an injury call up. Forget the details and work arounds for recall waivers though.

There are no recall waivers anymore.

The bigger issue with the plan is parking a player in the AHL with $10,000,000.00 left on his deal.
