In theory doing it tomorrow makes next week's testing a lot faster and relatively painless for everyone. Plenty of veterans are already in town.

I have high hopes for all 5 (6 including Andersson) and think they can all become NHLers within the next couple seasons.

Are any of the invites expected to be drafted in 2019? I know anything can happen, but I was more wondering if any should be on the radar.

Honorable mention to Gawdin and Parsons but imo they are both AHL bound unless something crazy happens.
In fairness, Dube really increased his stock during last year's camp, when that degree of impressive showing wasn't expected (at least not by me). Hopefully there's another unexpected player or two that stands out.

I also imagine that the testing is exhausting and players would prefer get that day out of the way so that they can step into camp a little smoother.

Kind of a very thin group of prospects. Can see why the Flames system is ranked so low. Thankfully we have a very young team that is cost controlled for the next few years.

On the radio today, Treliving said it will be announced in the next 48 hours. Probably tomorrow after the fitness testing.

He also said it's going to be 25 players. My guess is it will likely be all the players on one-way contracts (21 total), plus Tkachuk, Gillies, Andersson, and one more forward.

I would have thought they'd bring Foo because he has partial Chinese heritage, but he's in the Prospects group, so it might not be him. The last forward could be Rychel, Graovac, or Peluso. My guess is Rychel.

I really think Dube makes the team out of camp.

Gaudreau thought he was good enough to make the team last year so I'm sure he will be even better.

Mangiapane and Foo are up there too so it should be interesting..

Merrick Rippon looks like an interesting invite. Could’ve been drafted in the late rounds based on scouting reports. Could become a nice depth prospect as once the current crop of D matures there isn’t a lot coming behind them.

That article reads completely like Mad-Libs. Make a list of hockey related adjectives and auto fill in the blanks with player names.

Why is Yamamoto alone at the bottom of the list?

This Merrick Rippon could become a fan favorite, big hitter apparently.

Converted defenseman Jordan Ernst whose now become a forward had a great second OHL season, 68 27 27 54.

Luke Esposito is Mark Messier's nephew. Attending the Oilers camp on a tryout.

Lol, Has Benson even played a full healthy season yet?

Oh, I see he played 58 games plus a series in the playoffs last year. Could be interesting then.

The admin person didn't format the PDF to "print on one page". Even their office staff are no good
