Sounds like him shutting down other deals hurt the return, because this is like a dollar for a quarter, a dime, and two nickels

Up and coming team with some exciting players like Dahlen and Eichel. He can be a leader there so I can see some appeal.... Also close to NYC which is way better than Carolina

Sabres forward group could be impressive.
Yeah especially if Mittlestadt makes the team. I really liked him at the world juniors.

That's nothing. I would've done something similar here.

Buffalo is in New York State, but it's not really close to NYC. It's about the same distance as Calgary to Saskatoon.

If distance to another city played a role in his decision, it would likely have been because of Buffalo's proximity to Skinner's home town of Toronto.

Turned down a chance to play with McGenerational? who'd believe it.
Doesn't matter, nobody can save the oilers, not Skinner, nobody.

How can Buffalo not be one of the places he wouldn't want to go to?

It's appropriate that Pu is now a member of the Hurricanes since their logo looks like a flushing toilet (and they're ####ty).

Wish Flames had cap space and pick capital to be in on this. Feels like good value for a young top line talent

He's my pick for the Calder. I love watching that guy with the puck on his stick. Future superstar imo.

That's a pretty piss poor return for Skinner. At this rate Carolina won't have any forwards next year.

Glad to see the leafs division getting better and better.

Sabres have a lot of young talent, if it comes together and they can get goaltending, they could be a very complete team in a year or so.
