Yeah we are definitely lacking in star forward power. Mangiapane and Foo leading the way.

Parsons is still my #1.

Yup, there's some obvious ones at the top, but after 5 or so, i think it's a pretty steep cliff projection wise.
I wonder if it will/should hinder the flames from dealing picks over the next few years, despite it being the time they are trying to improve on trade deadline days...... (hopefully)

I vote to include the new guys (Czarnik, Quine and Graovac) just to see where people think they slot into the depth chart.

I do not understand this mentality. It's a ranking of our organizational depth, and they are new to the organization - let's see where people think they slot in.

Same. Was really pulling for that kid. I remember when we drafted him having zero idea who he was. He looked great his last year in Junior and played awesome during his end of the season AHL call-up. His rookie season in the A was great as well. Regardless, wherever he ends up I hope he turns it around.

Is Mitchell Mattson still in the system? Was really intrigued when we drafted him in 2016. Seems like he is committed to MSU this upcoming season. Wonder if this is another case of Matt Deblouw.

Did we ever find out who was that NHL first round draft choice who has the video game addiction?

Valimaki
Mangiapane
Kylington
Andersson
Parsons
Dube
Foo
Would be my tier 1 guys, then:
Gillies
Klimchuk
Tuulola
Phillips
Joly
Pospisil
Gawdin
Shinkaruk
Pettersson
Ruzicka
Zavgorodniy
Roman
Lomberg
Rafikov
Koumontzis
Healey
Fischer
Sveningsson
Ehliz
Karnaukhov
Lindstrom
Pollock
McDonald
Mattson
Schneider
The pool is deep but after tier 1 I think there will be a lot more non-NHLers than NHLers. Even if the Flames can go 4 for 7 in the top tier they will have done good I think.

Looking forward to the annual criminal overrating of the goalie prospects again this year!

There's only 2 players in our prospect pool that I feel could make the jump to NHL star (unlikely but I think they could) and that's Valimaki/Parsons.

I would love to see some stats listed after their name for each player this year.
Something like:
Last year's primary league
Games Played
Goals
Assists
Points
Nothing fancy, just some basics. Scorpion could probably whip that up pretty quick if Bingo doesn't want to do it. Maybe just put the info in the first post, if it's a pain to add it all to the poll itself?
Obviously I'd be a better voter if I was already well informed about all these players. But as we all know, being uninformed is no reason not to vote or express opinions. So if anyone out there wants to help inform myself and others with some basic info to help guide us to some better choices, that would be greatly appreciated!
