I kind of doubt that. The Flames are trying to develop their young goalies. Putting a mediocre veteran goalie in front of them doesn’t really help us at all this year and likely hurts the development of Rittich, Gillies and Parsons.

Rittich likely our backup this year. Gillies and Parsons share the net in the minors. Give us a veteran backup and suddenky we’ve got an ugly logjam in the minors and none of our young goalies are getting nhl experience.

Makes no sense to me. I’d be shocked if we didn’t go with one of Rittich/Gillies

I think at this point Neal is very wishful thinking. The fact his wife is a tv personality means they likely want to be state side.
I'd love to see it happen but I think anyone hoping for it is setting themselves up for disappointment.

There's not a tonne of depth at centre at the AHL level right now.

I kind of want Tre to leave the NHL roster alone at the moment unless it's a trade for an impact player. I don't think that there are any 'good buys' left on the UFA market for the big club.

I would be very surprised to see the Flames pick up another goalie. Treliving also said, "We have a lot of goalies."

Any other signings for the NHL roster at this point likely is a sign of trades pending as well. Already have enough bodies without graduating any youth.
