I should have also taken a photo. But also after saying out loud to my friend that “these are fake” to my friend...it got awkward with the employee and we had to scurry out.

I’m not sure if that’s a serious question.... But He owns the rights to his logos and has started his own line of jerseys.
That said, many of them have been counterfeited as well.

Ok guys. No need to pile on further. Reading the OP it was pretty clear to me what he meant. And given how much a lot of us care about fake Flames jerseys; seems like a reasonable thread topic.

I agree and I completely misunderstood. My apologies. Not sure how a legitimate retailer can sell unlicensed merchandise. I just assumed they had to.
When I hear “fake” I think knockoff brand stuff that you order from China (example: the ketchup and mustard knock off heritage jerseys).
Thanks for the heads up.
(OP is also in Edmonton... so I just figured they were starting to lose it a bit).

I think Lids/Jersey City got scammed...
They are VERY BAD fakes...they caught my attention just walking by in the mall.

I'm sorry but I find it very hard to believe a legitimate retailer would not only be duped into buying fake jerseys but also put them on the shelves and sell them. I'd bet money the jerseys are legit.
Googling "headgear classic jersey fakes" doesn't matter because it shows you fake headgear classic jerseys, it has nothing to do with the company headgear classic being illegitimate. You can google "Adizero fakes" and see the fake Adidas jerseys, doesn't make the real Adidas jerseys fake.

NHL jersey deals are very exclusive, they would not allow “Headgear Classics” to be the exception to CCM producing “Vintage Collection” jerseys. Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks jerseys are trademarked to the NHL...the fact they have a Happy Gilmore and Griswold Jersey should be enough.

I’m not sure what I’m most shocked by, that there are legit Happy Gilmore Jersey’s, that someone knocked off Happy Gilmore jersey’s, or that someone cared Happy Gilmore jerseys got knocked off.

You’re surprised that the nhl and Boston Bruins are protecting their trademarks? Seriously?

Kind of off topic. Where can one get an authentic Gunnar Stahl Island Jersey from D2? He's the OG Stahl.
