You're preaching to the choir here man, but what would you estimate this team's Give a $### level is like right now?

The guys on the bench know its over and the guys behind it probably know they're gone.

Organizational Draft embarrassment is probably low on their list of priorities.

From yesterday's skate:

FORWARDS

Johnny Gaudreau - Sam Bennett - Curtis Lazar

Michael Frolik - Mikael Backlund - Troy Brouwer

Micheal Ferland - Mark Jankowski - Chris Stewart

Nick Shore - Matt Stajan - Garnet Hathaway

DEFENCE

Mark Giordano - Dougie Hamilton

Michael Stone - Travis Hamonic

Brett Kulak - Rasmus Andersson

GOALTENDER

David Rittich

While this would be an opening night horror, a good chunk of this lineup is fighting for a job next year, either cracking the NHL or needing a new contract. Might raise the compete level for the rest of the season. That, and the Gaudreau-Bennet pain, are my only silver linings.

First line - give a crap.
Second line - don't give a crap.
Third line - give half a crap.
Fourth line - give a crap.

If the Isles pick first and it allows us to get a new GM and a new coach, that is long term pain for long term gain. Would be nice to get rid of BT and GG in the same offseason. 4 years to rebuild to the same point that you inherited the team is more than enough time.

Another afternoon game? Damn, even if this season had been going well, the last month and a half had the Flames set up to fail.

Flames double up on the Sharks on the shot count.

Sharks double up on the Flames on the scoreboard.

Don’t know whether to laugh or cringe. Flames first goal thing on Twitter has the most popular choice as “we won’t score” as the scorer......fans are more pissed than I can ever recall.
