Chucky deserved some points tonight. A great game by him. Third line was really good, especially Jankowski and Bennett. Hamonic was a beast in his own end.

Yay, 2 points! Playoff hopes still alive!

That was easily one of their best games of the season. Play like this again on Friday and we'll be in good shape heading back home.

Alright. 10-4 seems more possible. After Friday's win, 9-4 will seem possible and if they win on Sunday, 8-4 will seem likely!!

For the record, im being tongue in cheek but tonight was the first step to getting on their have to have run here.

Good game.. the Flames really need to come out with that first period mentality for the rest of the season. Hard forecheck, physical and shooting.. another 40+ shot night. The score flattered the Sabres.

Fantastic effort on both ends. I liked those defensive sticks and blocked shots. Rittich had actually easy game tonight. 17 seconds from shutout, but maybe that's better for him, he is going to try to get it nextime even harder. But hopefully Smith is gonna be back this week.

Play like that and, playoffs or not, I'll be satisfied.
But also, I assume that if we play like that, playoffs won't be a problem.

The players you hoped would start caring about the Playoffs had a game tonight and last night.

There is hope, but there can't be a single game off. This could be very fun hockey to watch if this is the drive to the post season!

Kelly Hrudey was talking about focusing on 5 min segments every game he played.

But, apparently, 900 minutes of focused success it is!

With how active and effective the D have been the last two games, it's pretty clear Glen Gulutzan has either gained some sanity or lost the room.
