If you're still having issues take some photos and upload them to photobucket or imgur and I can take a look and tell you what's going on. I'm 99% sure you just have to break that tab off. Possibly need new plugs depending how bad they burned up

Only time I've had instant-faults on a circuit was a counter-top plug with seperate 15A circuits without the tab removed. Sounds like exactly the case.

Dang electricians who wired the house - who do they think they are, providing sufficient amperage like a bunch of jerks!
