Craigslist around the 20th of the month, people move and they don't have space for stuff, as it gets closer to the move date the price goes down, by the 29th its free if you can pick it up by midnight!!

I like Structube and agree on it being a step up from Ikea while still being in a similar price bracket, but I will add that in our experience their supply-chain inventory system is awful to the point of being comical - their inefficiencies have literally become a joke in our household. (Stuff like not being able to sell us a floor model dining chair, because their inventory system only allows it to be sold in pairs, and this is the last one they have in a discontinued product, and hence will never be available as a pair. But is still on the floor as being for sale.)

Also you can figure out some brands you're going after for furniture then look them up on Kijiji. I bought a GUS sectional that was hardly used for about 1/4 of the price that way.
