I like it.

One of the best defenses on paper vs. the offensive juggernaut of the league.

You know the flames want this one. What better statement to make than to beat the lightning on home ice.

C'mon boys!

This will be a fun high speed game. I'm thinking a blowout, just not sure for who.

Big test tonight. Can't afford dumb penalties in this one. As good as the pK has been, their pp is better

Good day for our #1 leading "posts and out" shots to start going post and in.
I'll call 3 goals for us off the post and in including one from Bennett.

Flames win 4-3 in OT, with Gaudreau scoring the winner; Monahan doesn't celebrate again.
I hope the Flames brass are holding serious discussions about this major problem. If it goes on, I simply don't see how Monahan can remain on this team.

I suppose I'd feel the same way if Johnny robbed me of a guaranteed GWG, but still.

Still upset about '04.....lest we forget.

No matter what personnel is on the team, who the coaching staff is, or how much time has passed, it is ALWAYS mandatory for the Flames to beat the ass of the stupid Lightning each and every time.

Hoping for a big win to keep the streak alive. Smith is going to have to be at his sharpest.

Didnt know where else to post this, but i was curious what the odds were for SC champion half way through the season. I expected TB to be the favorites, but there are some other ones im a bit surprised with.

Tampa Bay Lightning 6/1
Vegas Golden Knights 10/1
Boston Bruins 12/1
Washington Capitals 12/1
Nashville Predators 14/1
New Jersey Devils 14/1
Winnipeg Jets 14/1
Los Angeles Kings 16/1
St. Louis Blues 16/1
Toronto Maple Leafs 16/1
Chicago Blackhawks 20/1
Columbus Blue Jackets 20/1
Dallas Stars 20/1
New York Rangers 20/1
New York Islanders 20/1
Pittsburgh Penguins 20/1
San Jose Sharks 25/1
Anaheim Ducks 28/1
Carolina Hurricanes 33/1
Edmonton Oilers 33/1
Minnesota Wild 33/1
Philadelphia Flyers 33/1
Calgary Flames 40/1
Colorado Avalanche 50/1
Montreal Canadiens 50/1
Florida Panthers 66/1
Detroit Red Wings 100/1
Vancouver Canucks 100/1
Ottawa Senators 125/1
Buffalo Sabres 500/1
Arizona Coyotes 1000/1

Some seriously good value to be had if you believe anyone other than TAmpa will win it all. Im going to Vegas in a couple months so i know i will be buying some tickets.

Will be a tough game. Best team in the league, don't have any real holes in their game.

Not expecting the team to win, but am interested to see how they match up against the best.

Also, how the hell do the oilers still have higher odds to win the cup (from the post above)???

Money wagered before the season started.

Good times.

You know what, if Flames get a PP goal, I would consider this game a moral win, even if they don't win the game itself.

I remember when the criminally misled believed such obvious nonsense but I tend to prefer reality where the Oilers are among the worst sports teams that the world has ever known.

Thats real. Thats true. Thats comfortable.
