Okay Leafs tied it up. Quick Babs, put out that 4th line with Polak to lock this game down!

I'd rather Marancin than Polak. At least Marancin occasionally makes a good defensive play with his stick. Polak is just a constant ####show.

I hate his dumb face. They guy looks like a neanderthal.

Rielly makes a bad pinch giving the Sens the 3-on-1, then Hainsey makes an even worse decision to give the Sens a 2-on-0 vs Andersen and......Sens score the GWG.

Wild hold on for a 2-1 win. Best result we could have hoped for. No 3 point game.

Going into tonight’s games why did all the standings show the Hawks ahead of the Flames? They were tied in points, same number of games played but the Flames had one more victory yet all the standings showed the Hawks in the last wildcard spot. Am I missing something?

Easiest answer is ROW wins. Chicago has more ROW wins than us.
However with tonight's loss.. they are below us for the time being.

ROW. The Hawks have 21 ROW and the Flames have 20.

Leafs record with Polak: 11-13-2 (.462 P%)

Leafs record without Polak: 14-4-1 (.763 P%)

Dubnyk stole some points for the Wild.

Even though they aren't a Lemaire team anymore, the Wild still are awful to watch, with the trap and counter attack stuff, once they have a lead.

The two games really show how teams play on consecutive nights. It is bizarre how the Senators get humiliated at home to the Bhawks and then play a very strong game against the Leafs. The flip side had the Bhawks offence getting shutdown by the Wild.
