62" total linear dimensions is a common limit for many airlines. That means [Length + Width + Height] needs to be no more than 62". If your bag is a bit bigger, most check-in agents dont bother measuring. If its huge, they will measure. This is also why luggage with spinners is less efficient in terms of size because the airlines measure on the longest part of a side, which means the wheels are included when measuring.
